A Birthday Gift She Loved

Once upon a time there was a beautiful Princess

Who lived in a castle with her mother and various servants.

And spend her days helping children with developmental disabilities.

It was the Princess’s birthday, and she was in a bit of a funk because people always gave her weird gifts.

She remembered last year when the ogre stopped by to give her a gift.

A fish.

Her Mother loved birthdays but never wanted her baby to grow up, and would give her

A balloon animal, which was a sweet thought but the Princess was older now.

She remembered when the Evil Vampire Queen told her, "I have a wonderful gift for you in the living room”.

A pile of dirty laundry. (Man she really was evil).

So the Princess went to a wise soothsayer for advice.

He told her that, "On a faraway island, down the coast, past jagged rocks and dangerous waters, lies a beach where a wise old woman sits. She has a gift that you would truly love.”

So the Princess immediately set off for the island.

Crossed dangerous canyons.

And past jagged rocks.

And there she saw a wise old woman, sitting on the beach with a cute baby.

“What brings you to this land Princess?”

“I was told that you have a gift for me that I would truly love.”

“Girrrrrl, what the heck are you talking about? Have you lost your mind? I don't have any gifts for you. Buzz off.”

So the Princess "negotiated" with the wise old woman.

And returned to the castle with a gift that she truly loved.

And because he was so smart the Princess gave the soothsayer a big hug.





She wound up having the best birthday party ever, with lots of treats and dancing.

And lived happily ever after.
